1.)  I painted the wing, did paper mache on one wing and the entire body and put balled up newsprint on the body. The only name I know in my group is Lahari. That girl who has three books all the time is in our group and the girl who always has on such stylish clothes is also in our group. (Just the people at my table.) Lahari cut out the body and wings and did paper mache on the wings. Book Girl did paper mache on the wings and painted the wings and applied tin foil on the wings and provided moral support. Fashionista applied tin foil on the wings, painted the wings, and did some paper mache on the wings. 2.) Once you have your body all set with cardboard and newsprint for depth, you can add layers of paper towels or paper with a mixture of flour and water mixed to pancake batter consistency. Dan Lam

Dan Lam is an acclaimed artist from Dallas, Texas. She makes mostly blobs out of polyurthane foam. Her works have been showcased in galleries around the world due to their uniqueness. Her works normally go for around one thousand dollars on websites like artsy.com. She has an instagram and a website: https://www.bydanlam.com. These sculptures are soft to the touch, so you could cuddle with one if you wanted to. She has a cool way of displaying the works- she makes it appear like the blobs are oozing off the shelves like the one above. Dan Lam inspires me because her sculptures are completely random but have interesting titles, like "Legs for Days." I had a little keychain that looked like these sculptures when I was little, so these works brought me back to my freshman year when I had the keychain (it was stolen). Pit Fire in Progress

Don't worry, it looks slightly better now. 1.) I coiled this piece, so I made a circular base, then rolled out snakes of clay and scored and slipped where clay touches clay and stacked them on top of each other. 2.) I have been trying to smooth it out, but a friend showed me how to do it so I'm good now. The only thing successful about this piece is the base. 3.) I plan to just make a simple bowl instead of my original design because it's hard to make it even. So, yes, it has changed.
